Here at TC Resumes we see a Resume or Curriculum Vitae as not just a list of your previous employment roles, it is your personal marketing campaign.  Essentially it is a business document that should highlight your key skills, experience and accomplishments  to potential employers and recruitment agencies.   A resume should be concisely worded using positive, business-like language and should be presented in a professional, easy to read format.

It is my goal to provide all my clients with all the professional documents required to find a desirable employment, without paying exorbitant prices.  If you prefer to deal with a person that is friendly, patient, understanding and uncomplicated then you've come to the right place.  All you have to do is provide me with your existing resume plus any new information and some desirable position descriptions, and I will take care of the rest! 


Essential information for the creation of a good resume includes:

Personal details  (name, address, contact numbers, email address and residential status)
7 - 10 years of Employment experience (including responsibilities and achievements)
Professional Training & Development (include modules studied and high scores/distinctions)
Service awards or other special achievements (if applicable)
Personal qualities 
Computer experience (name of application/systems and level of proficiency)

Referees (at least 2 people)

Professional memberships (if applicable)

Copies of reference letters from previous employers (Not essential but they do give me a clearer overview of your key skills and performance)

Naturally the more relevant information I have to work with the better the overall finished result will be.  I will  enhance upon the information provided and may ask for some further details or undertake some industry research if necessary.  Your new resume will be well presented and concisely worded in accordance with current industry requirements and recruitment trends.

Do you service my area?

Yes I can provide my service to anyone within Australia but it is helpful if you have an email account for communication purposes.

What happens if I do not have an existing resume?

That's not a problem at all.  I have a form that I can send to you that makes creation of your first resume very easy. If you provide me with an email or postage address, I can send or email this form to you.  All you have to do is fill it out to the best of your ability and send it back to me.  Local residents can make an appointment with me for a personal consultation (a cuppa and a chat!)

 What do you charge for a resume?

Please refer to my pricing page for further information.  Discounts apply to students or school leavers.

What does your service include?
A professional, well worded resume in modern format (usually 3-4 pages in length). A draft document will be prepared within 2-3 days (depending on my workload) and  emailed to you for your perusal and approval. This will enable you to make any last minute changes or add in any additional information. Once the document is finalised I will then  email the final version of resume in both pdf  and Word format so that you can start applying for positions immediately.  I will also provide free interview tips, a copy of files on disk and a hard copy which can be collected by client or sent in the mail.

Do you also prepare cover letters?

Yes, I can prepare a tailored cover letter for a small additional cost.  For further information please see my pricing page.
